Startup Talent Can Now Request Invite to MaRS COVID-19 Talent Relief

MaRS COVID-19 Talent Relief

Toronto, Ontario, Canada – MaRS Discovery District (www.marsdd.com) is actively reaching out to displaced talent encouraging them to join the MaRS COVID-19 Talent Relief ecosystem.

So many in the tech community are unsure of their professional futures right now. MaRS wants to help these individuals get back on track by connecting them with startups looking to hire.

MaRS launched MaRS COVID-19 Talent Relief to support the tech ecosystem in getting back on track. Powered by partner and tech startup Curasion, this invite-only, open-source talent platform will be available until August 31.

MaRS works with only the most promising, scaling ventures that are solving real problems. The proposition to talent is the ability to plug into the best tech opportunities at one of these high-growth companies, by joining and sharing their profile.

What talent can expect:

  • Automatically match with startup jobs that match your top skills.
  • Hear directly from hiring managers who want to meet you.

To qualify to join applications will be reviewed by MaRS and an invitation will be emailed directly to the individual based on the following criteria:

  • You have startup experience
  • You have been displaced from your startup job due to COVID-19
  • You are a Canadian resident

Talent has always been the Canadian innovation community’s greatest strength — and it will be your talent that helps us overcome this current crisis.

For more information and to join the program, hiring managers from MaRS companies should contact Manda Cuthbertson (mcuthbertson@marsdd.com).
