Commemorating Truth and Reconciliation

September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation as well as Orange Shirt Day.

This day honours the children who never returned home and the Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities. This Indigenous-led grassroots commemorative day is intended to raise awareness of the individual, family and community inter-generational impacts of residential schools, and to promote the concept of “Every Child Matters”.

We encourage all Canadians to wear orange on September 30 to honour the Survivors.

Curasion is proud to play a role in Deloitte’s Reconciliation Action Plan by providing recruitment and procurement services, as well as the creation of new collaborative relationships with Indigenous-owned businesses supported in the Curasion Talent Ecosystem.
